With equal doses of pop culture insight, personal judgments (yes, she judges), and humor, Emily talks about movies from her own perspective, including the knowledge she gained as a Film Studies student at Wesleyan. Her degree, though, usually takes a back seat to her knowledge of an actor’s previous peformance on sitcoms in the nineties, appearances in romantic comedies, and affiliation with J.J. Abrams, Jennifer Garner, or Quentin Tarantino.
If you’d like to ask Emily’s opinion on a movie she hasn’t seen (or even one that’s she has seen), feel free to email her. She may or may not talk about it on air online, depending on her schedule (and her mood). She’ll also try to answer each email, but she gets a lot of them, so don’t get all pissy if you don’t hear from her. She may be clueless, but she’s also muy popular. See you at the movies! Or not.
